Our event public liability insurance does not cover individual stalls so if any damage or injury arises from any actions of, or items belonging to the stallholder, the stallholder is liable, not the event organiser or venue.
By agreeing to our Terms & Conditions the stallholder is stating that they do have public liability insurance, but ultimately it is the decision of the stallholder whether they actually take out public liability insurance or not.
We strongly recommend that stallholders hold public liability insurance to protect themselves against any claim.
At some fairs/markets simply by taking a stall you are agreeing to the T's & C's, so you would not know about stallholder liability until there was a problem.
We like to be transparent from the start.
